Details: Tokens are gradually unlocked over the first 48 months, following the degressive schedule mentioned above. The node sale allocation includes a pro-rated share of newly minted tokens during this period, starting at 20% and reducing proportionally with the vesting schedule. This additional minting ensures node value is maintained throughout their lifecycle, preventing deflation. Minting occurs only as necessary, depending on network needs.

Minting Schedule: Minting follows a pro-rated schedule with 80% of newly minted tokens initially allocated to the Rewards Reserve. This percentage gradually increases as node allocations decrease, reaching 100% by year 5. Up to 300M ICNT may be minted during this period, depending on network demand and growth. Minting only occurs if needed for network sustainability.
Details: The Rewards Reserve is fully accessible from day one. Minting into the reserve occurs as necessary to maintain its proportionality relative to the total supply. The reserve is primarily used to reward Hardware Providers (HPs).
